Gregory Kuss, Founder

Gregory Kuss


As the founder of SolarVision™, Mr. Kuss brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company as well as a long-term commitment to sustainable energy alternatives.  His role includes serving as the company’s principal liaison to the solar industry.

Mr. Kuss is a fourth-generation energy businessman and has pioneered much of the early renewable energy efforts in the state of Ohio.  During his 30-year career in the industry, he founded Energy Designs (1984), a renewable energy product development company.  Mr. Kuss also co-founded EcoHouse, LLC, which helps to provide sustainable energy solutions for the residential market.

Mr. Kuss is committed to educating the population on renewable energy.  He created and markets the Green Energy Machine, an interactive tool to teach children about renewable energy.  Mr. Kuss also served as a founding member, past president and current board member of Green Energy Ohio (GEO), the state chapter of the American Solar Energy Society, an organization dedicated to promoting the importance of sustainable energy.  During his presidency, Mr. Kuss expanded the organization from a regional presence to a statewide presence and was awarded GEO’s Pioneers Award for his work in installing solar on the Governor’s residence.

Mr. Kuss received his bachelor’s degree from Otterbein College and attended the Florida Solar Energy Center and other advanced solar-related training courses.


Martin “Marty” Magill

Chief Financial Officer

With more than 30 years of financial experience as a CPA, Mr. Magill uses his expertise to manage both the investment and operating financial aspects of SolarVision™.  Mr. Magill is a former partner with Clark, Schafer Hackett & Co. and has also served the client side of the business as CFO of Immke Auto Group.

Mr. Magill has served on the boards of Worthington Chamber of Commerce and Junior Achievement and he is involved in Charity Newsies, United Way and the American Red Cross.  He received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati.
